The nickel plated steel glides through fabric much smoother than the cheaper packs I've used before. I appreciate having all the common sizes from 1 to 5 in one set, which covers my cross-stitch projects perfectly.

Finally got around to testing these needles with some metallic thread, and they slid through the fabric without any fraying. The nickel plating is holding up nicely after several hours of stitching.

The nickel-plated steel feels smooth and sturdy, and the size range from 1 to 5 covers everything I stitch these days. Threading was easier than my old mixed pack, and they glided through linen without snagging once.
