The metal teeth on this #5 zipper feel way sturdier than the plastic ones I've used before, and the semi-automatic lock actually holds the slider in place instead of sliding down on its own. Fit my jacket project perfectly at 17 cm.

Swapped the old plastic zipper on my jacket for this metal one and the difference is night and day. The teeth feel solid and the slider locks in place on its own, so it never creeps down while I'm wearing it. Closed-end design was exactly what I needed for a 17 cm opening.
