Finally got around to replacing the separating zipper on my favorite lightweight jacket, and this #5 plastic pull glides much smoother than the old metal one I used to have. The light gray is a perfect, neutral match.

The #5 teeth are a good size for a jacket — thick enough to feel durable but not bulky. It slides smoothly and the light gray matches my fabric perfectly.

I've been using this light gray YKK zipper to replace the broken one on my favorite windbreaker, and the #5 teeth slide perfectly without catching. The fact that it's an open-end separating zipper makes it so much easier to install and use than a closed one.
