I needed a sturdy replacement for a jacket zipper that kept splitting, and this one works perfectly. The #5 metal teeth slide smoothly and the open-end design makes it easy to install.

The metal teeth on this #5 zipper feel really sturdy—much better than the plastic ones I’ve used before on jackets. It separates smoothly at both ends, which made installing it into my duffel bag a breeze.

The separating slider is perfect for my duffel bag project, and the #5 metal teeth feel sturdy enough for heavy daily use. It’s exactly 40 cm, so I didn’t have to trim anything. Snaps open and closed smoothly every time.
