I’m restitching a backpack and these #5 teeth feel properly sturdy for the job; the closed end makes it a solid, no-fuss install. It zips smooth right out of the package, and the 6 3/4" length was spot on for my bag’s opening.

The purple color is exactly as pictured, and the metal teeth feel sturdy for a duffel bag repair. Installed it in about ten minutes and it glides smoothly.

Finally pulled out my sewing machine to replace the worn zipper on a favorite duffel bag, and the #5 metal teeth felt sturdy enough to handle the load. The 6 3/4-inch length was exactly what I measured for that side pocket, and it slides smoothly every time.
