Had to swap the zipper on a canvas duffel, and this closed-end metal #5 fit perfectly—slides smoothly right out of the package. Takes a bit of careful alignment to sew, but once it's in, it feels like it'll outlast the bag itself.

Perfect size for replacing the zipper on my daughter's duffel bag — the metal teeth feel sturdy and glide smoothly. Worked like a charm for a quick repair.

Finished the lining on my go-to backpack with this closed-end zipper and the metal teeth glide way smoother than the plastic ones I’d been using. The 12 cm length was exactly what the pattern called for, and it held up to a week of heavy daily use without a single snag.
