Bought this for a skirt I was sewing, and the closed end is exactly what I needed since the bottom won't accidentally come apart. The teeth really do vanish once it's zipped—you'd never guess there was a zipper there. Just wish it came in a slightly longer length for my dress project.

The nylon teeth blend perfectly with the tape, making it nearly invisible once sewn in. Worked great for a fitted skirt I just finished—smooth glide and no bunching.

Finally got around to using this on a dress I was altering and the nylon teeth really do disappear into the tape once zipped. It glides up and down without catching, which made the whole project much easier.
