The adhesive grabs instantly and holds firm, so I didn't have to babysit the seam while stitching. At 38 mm wide, it covers the overlap edge nicely, and a full 9 meters has lasted me through three quilt backs already.

I was dreading the lumpy ridge I'd get from overlapped batting, but this tape pressed down flat in seconds and the join is completely invisible from the front. The fusible side grabbed evenly across the full 38 mm width, so the seam feels solid even after quilting over it.

Neatly butted up two large pieces of batting with this tape, and after ironing, the seam was barely noticeable. It's a solid 38mm width, so it covers the join perfectly without any shifting.
