CLOVER 484 | Button Hole Cutter

I've made several buttonholes on thick wool fabric and the chisel edge cuts cleanly with just one light tap on the block. It’s smaller than I pictured but the sharpness really does the work.

The chisel edge is sharp enough that you don't need to pound hard to get a clean cut through fabric. I've used it on several layers of denim and it went through without fraying or tearing.

I set it on a scrap of wood and tapped it gently with a hammer — the chisel edge sliced through the fabric in one clean stroke. Worked better than my old scissors ever did.
