The shank is solid and the finish is smooth, no rough edges that snag on fabric. I've already sewn them onto a winter coat and they still look brand new after a couple of wears.

I was a bit worried the 14 mm size might be too small, but they're perfect for a lightweight summer shirt I'm mending. The material feels sturdy, and I appreciate that they're built to handle regular washing without cracking.
