The finish is smooth and even on every single button, so they catch the light nicely on a dark coat. I've already run these through a couple of wash cycles and they haven't chipped or warped at all, which is more than I can say for cheaper sets.

Bought these for a mending project and was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy they feel. The material seems like it will hold up through many washes without chipping.
