Please note: this fabric will now be replacing our previous Essex Yarn Dyed line from Robert Kaufman. It offers a very similar look and feel, with the same great versatility and quality you've come to love.

This beautifully woven yarn-dyed fabric combines the breathability and texture of linen with the softness and ease of cotton.

With a medium weight, it has just the right amount of structure to make it versatile for a variety of sewing projects.

The yarn-dyeing process enhances the depth of color and gives the fabric a refined, textured finish that holds up beautifully over time.

Its gentle drape and crisp hand feel make it ideal for garments like summer shirts, tunics, dresses, skirts, lightweight jackets, and even relaxed trousers. 

Care instructions: To preserve the quality and longevity of your fabric, we recommend machine washing it in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors. Avoid using bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry to prevent shrinkage. For a smoother finish, iron on the reverse side while slightly damp, using medium heat. Expect a natural softening of the fabric with each wash.

We recommend that you pre-wash your fabric the way you are going to wash your finished garment.
