This waterproof cotton shell fabric is a Canada Goose deadstock material originally developed for outerwear and urban parkas.

The tightly woven cotton construction gives the fabric a natural textile feel while maintaining durability and structure. A protective coating helps resist wind and moisture, making the fabric suitable for outerwear projects that require both comfort and performance.

Compared to synthetic shell fabrics, this material has a softer, more natural hand and a refined appearance while still offering practical weather resistance.

Sewing Tips
