This rayon challis fabric is ideal for sewing flowy & lightweight clothes; dresses, blouses, tops, shorts, skirts, sleepwear, scarves, kimono-style robes, rompers and more.

When sewing with rayon challis, keep in mind that it can be somewhat delicate and prone to fraying, so it's a good idea to finish seams with a serger or a zigzag stitch.

Additionally, be mindful of the fabric's tendency to shift while cutting and sewing, and use pins or fabric weights to keep it in place.

Pre-washing the fabric is also recommended, as rayon can shrink and change texture after washing.

Overall, rayon challis is a versatile fabric that can be used for a wide range of sewing projects, especially those that require a soft and flowy look.

Care instructions: Hand wash in cold water or machine wash in delicate cycle in cold water with like colors. Use a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Lay flat or hang to dry. Do not tumble dry. Iron on the reverse side. Rayon challis shrinks easily -- always prewash before sewing.
