This stretch boardshort fabric is a lightweight woven made from recycled polyester and spandex, featuring a playful tropical print of monkeys climbing among banana trees and lush foliage on a soft cream background. Originally sourced from Little Yogi, a Québec-based company, this fabric is available as deadstock, giving remaining production material a new opportunity to become something unique.
Designed for active and warm-weather garments, this recycled polyester boardshort fabric combines a lightweight feel with subtle 2-way stretch for added comfort and freedom of movement. Its UPF 50+ protection and antibacterial properties make it particularly well suited to swimwear and outdoor garments.
Recommended Uses: Boardshorts, swim shorts, lightweight shorts, beachwear, cover-ups, lightweight skirts, dresses, tops and other summer garments.
What is deadstock fabric? Deadstock fabric is unused material remaining from a brand's production or previous collection. Once this fabric is sold out, we may not be able to restock it, making it a limited-quantity find.
Care Instructions: Machine wash in cold water. Do not bleach. Hang to dry.
We recommend pre-washing your fabric using the same method you intend to use for the finished garment.
