The LDH 45 mm Midnight Edition Rotary Cutter is a lightweight straight-handle cutter designed for smooth, controlled cutting in sewing, quilting and craft projects. This cutter features a quick push-to-release button and measures 7.5 inches from top to bottom. It is designed to cut through multiple layers of fabric as well as leather, fleece, vinyl, denim and other dense materials.
The 45 mm size is a versatile everyday option that works well for general fabric cutting, quilting pieces and more detailed work where control matters. LDH notes that blade durability depends on use and cutting mat, with tests in fabric shops showing approximately 3 to 4 months of use per blade under heavy daily use.
For maintenance, wipe down the blade and lubricate the parts with oil once a month to help keep the cutter working smoothly.
