These LDH 45mm Midnight Edition rotary blades are designed for smooth, precise cutting across a wide range of sewing and crafting materials. Made from carbon steel, they offer sharp, reliable performance and are designed with a universal opening to fit many 45 mm rotary cutters on the market. These are black carbon steel blades and notes they are coated with protective oil for transport. 

Ideal for quilting, garment sewing, bag making and general craft use, these replacement blades can cut through multiple layers of fabric as well as denser materials such as fleece, vinyl, denim and leather. LDH notes that blade life varies by use and cutting surface, with shop testing showing roughly 3 to 4 months of use per blade under heavy daily use. 

Before first use, wipe the blade with a scrap piece of cloth to remove the protective oil coating and help prevent marking your project. Store unused blades carefully in their original packaging.
