SCHMETZ | Microtex Needles | 90/14

Used a pack of these on some tricky polyester lining and the super acute point went through without any snagging. The 90/14 size gave me precise, clean stitches on a faux leather sample, too. Exactly what I needed for consistent topstitching.

Finally got these for topstitching a faux leather bag, and the acute point made neat, even lines through the heavy material without tearing it. They’re noticeably sharper than standard needles, so piercing through multiple layers felt smooth and controlled.

Silk kept sliding and puckering with my old universal point, but this needle sliced through cleanly on the first pass. The acute point also made the topstitching on coated fabric look sharp and even.
