The little strawberry emery is genuinely useful—I run my needles through it before hand-sewing and they glide so much smoother. The tomato itself is firm enough that pins stay put but soft enough to push in easily. Exactly what I needed on my desk.

I’ve been using this tomato pincushion for a few weeks now, and it’s sturdy enough to keep my pins from falling off the table. The little strawberry emery is actually useful for dull needles—I run them through it a few times and they snag fabric much less.

The tomato shape is bigger than I expected, so my pins actually stay put instead of spilling everywhere. And that little strawberry emery is perfect for wiping needle tips clean before I switch fabrics.
