I'm replacing a worn-out zipper on an old denim jacket, and this #5 metal open-end zipper was the exact length I needed. The brown color matches nicely and the one-way separating action works smoothly, very solid feel.

The metal teeth slide smoothly even after a few washes, and the 27.5-inch length worked perfectly for my heavy canvas duffel bag. It’s nice to finally have a zipper that separates cleanly at the bottom without snagging.

Finally, a separating zipper that doesn't fight back when I'm sewing a jacket – the slider glides smooth every time. The #5 teeth are heavy enough for a duffel bag, but it's still easy to cut down to size for a smaller project.
