The separating action is smooth right out of the package, and the nylon coil glides without snagging on my sewing machine. I used it for a jacket lining and the two-way slider makes it way easier to reach into pockets.

The nylon coil glides much smoother than the metal zippers I've used, and the 2-way open-end design is perfect for my jacket project. Took me a bit to get it installed, but the black #3 teeth blend in nicely once it's sewn in.

I needed a separating zipper that could open from both ends for my project, and this #3 nylon coil in black is exactly what I was looking for at 45cm. The track slides smoothly and the length was spot on for my jacket repair.
